The Technology College Recruiter represents Paycom at local Universities, and Technical Organizations. They represent Paycom’s brand, communicating with students and higher education personnel about what it takes to be a successful Development or IT professional at Paycom in addition to presenting Paycom’s history, growth projections, plus different Tech Talks and Question & Answer sessions, creating and maintaining partnerships. Additionally, they are an active member of the recruiting team and will be required to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly goals.
A Technical College Recruiter is responsible for:
Scheduling, preparing for and presenting different unique events at local Universities in addition to career fairs, Tech Talks and other events currently in place
Create, modify and maintain presentations, keeping them current and relevant
Rotate presentations and topics to provide new information each time visiting a location
Collect with resumes and background information pertaining to prospective Development and IT candidates
Required to meet specified goals for hiring Development and IT candidates by screening candidates through Applicant Tracking system, sourcing candidates, and meeting candidates through University events
Meeting with a variety of individuals in Higher Education and students as a representative, knowledgebase for Paycom
Learning the Paycom software development and IT environment and success factors
Building partnerships internally and externally
Sourcing, identifying and working closely with top tier students, strategic campus planning to include relationship development with key university stakeholders and student organizations, maintaining Internship positions, support national events, other duties as assigned.
Using Applicant tracking system, LinkedIn, Job boards and other networking tools to identify and contact qualified candidates for technical openings at Paycom.
Bachelor's degree required. GPA above 3.0
2-3 years of Recruiting and/or Account Management

Must have a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism in appearance and communication style; and high sense of urgency.

Experience facilitating presentations
Knowledge of social media for sourcing/recruiting efforts
Able to work in a highly functioning, fast-paced and dynamic environment
Able to pass all background checks
