The Director of Undergraduate Programs at Culverhouse will be responsible for working with all relevant constituents in leading the appraisal, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives relating to all aspects of the undergraduate curriculum as well as programs to attract, retain, and enhance the success of our undergraduate students. Activities include those relating to curriculum review and revision, undergraduate assurances of student learning (AoL) for AACSB accreditation, student academic success resources, faculty teaching excellence resources, and major student-development events such as Sophomore LAUNCH.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree and a minimum of two years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four years of work experience in college or university administration (e.g., academic advising, curriculum development and management, or related experience).
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Critical aspects include being a self-starter with an ability to (a) proactively and independently plan and execute on plan, (b) create appropriate goals and implementation plans and delegate and partner to execute , (c) work with and gain “buy-in” from internal partners (e.g., events and communications teams) and external constituents, (d) work with and lead cross-unit teams to effectively accomplish unit goals, (e) communicate and present effectively, (f) collect, analyze, and utilize data to make and influence decisions, (g) gain support for key initiatives from faculty, staff, administration, students, and corporate executives, (h) motivate, coordinate, and oversee staff, student, and volunteer activities generally and in relation to key internal and external stakeholders, and (i) work effectively under deadline. Must be able to work outside of normal business hours. Must have a valid U.S. driver's license required. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable motor vehicle report as determined by the insurance carrier.
