The Assistant Director of Career Services & Internship Coordinator is primarily responsible for developing and coordinating internships and experiential learning opportunities for Austin College students. As Assistant Director, this position will also assist with career advising and planning services for the student population. The Assistant Director will work independently and in close cooperation with the Director of Career Services and other areas of the College to further enhance career and internship opportunities for Austin College students and alumni.
Minimum Knowledge: (Obtained through education, experience, training, licensure, certification, or through a combination of the aforementioned.) Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 3 years’ of directly related experience or Master’s degree from an accredited institution in higher education, human resources, counseling or related field with one year of directly related experience.
Desired: Experience working in higher education, career assessment and advising, experiential education programs, employer relations, or similar.
