Randolph College seeks a creative and energetic Director of Career Services to provide vision and leadership for a comprehensive career development program within the context of a residential, liberal arts college. Services offered include career advising, coordination of recruitment activities, and preparation of students for the transition to graduate school and work. The director maintains collaborative relationships and partnerships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and employers, and works closely with the Internship Director and the Career Network Manager. Planning, implementation and evaluation of programs designed to meet a wide variety of student and college needs and interests is expected. The director supervises support staff, and student employees. The director administers program budgets and reports to the chief academic officer.
Required qualifications include a master’s degree, preferably in one of the following fields: student personnel administration, higher education administration, counseling, business, or related fields, and five years of professional experience in career services. Experience in supervision, budget management, and program administration is desired. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Experience working in a liberal arts college is highly preferable.
