Located in a centrally located state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot center with 20 professional staff, and serving 24,000 students, the UC Riverside Career Center's employer relations program is a high-volume, customer service-driven, and technologically advanced. The Career Center is in a high growth evolution phase for UCR and it is critical that the employer relations team offers a supportive and energetic environment to corporate recruitment stakeholders. The Associate Director, Employer Relations, is a member of the Director's senior management team, which collaboratively works to provide leadership and vision in the establishment of policies and procedures to effectively deliver comprehensive career services. The Associate Director oversees all employer and corporate relations services in three major program areas: career fairs and events; strategic partnerships; and employer relations. The Associate Director is responsible for establishing partnerships with employers and key campus stakeholders to assist in developing recruitment strategies and programs designed to enhance relationships with the university. The Associate Director will manage daily operations, develop program policies/procedures, conduct program assessment and evaluation, manage a fiscal budget, and participate in strategic planning.
Advanced degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Master's degree preferred.
6 - 10 years of related experience.
Demonstrated progressive experience in university relations/recruiting and/or career services.
Previous supervisory/managerial experience.
