The Employer Relations Coordinator supports the Office of Career and Professional Development in developing collaborative partnerships with employers to promote full-time and internship opportunities through the planning and implementation of career-related events.
• Manages logistics for all events including location, catering, task lists, marketing, etc. • Proactively builds new employer relationships. • Manages communication with University departments and leads event planning through the facilitation of internal partnership agreements defining departmental roles, responsibilities and financial obligations. • Creates budgets for all events and works with the Director, Associate Director, and budget manager to gain budget approvals. • Manages event invitations, registrations, and confirmations. • Manages and oversees invoicing and payment processes for career events and programs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment
