Advance students’ career development by providing effective career counseling, coaching, and advising (60% of this position has direct student contact). Manage career services for assigned liaison populations. One position will work with students in the College of Hospitality, Retailing & Sport Management, the College of Information & Communications, and freshmen in the Darla Moore School of Business. One position will work with students in the College of Education, the School of Music, and the College of Arts & Sciences (School of Visual Art & Design, Dept. of Theatre & Dance, and selected other departments to be determined). Manage career services with assigned special populations which could include one or more of the following: residence halls, students with disabilities, athletes, veterans, international students, and under-represented students. Assist with programming consistent with the goals and objectives of the Career Center. Coordinate the promotion, implementation and evaluation of university-recognized internship programs.
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience.
