Position Summary: Provides daily leadership and management for the Internship Equity Program, including working with employers to establish internships; recruit, screen, and place students in internships; serve as coach and mentor to interns; and ensure evaluation of interns. Assists general students with finding internships and campus with tracking students participating in internships.

- Communicate with employers in the Southwest Michigan region to help develop internship offerings and programs at regional employers and non-profits modeled on the Green Leaf Trust Internship program.
- Market and recruit students to the Internship Equity program.
- Screen and place students in internship roles.
- Coach students in internship program before and during internship on career development, professionalism, and professional competencies.
- Ensure evaluations of each intern and internship position are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide support to general WMU students looking for internships.
- Develop and maintain system to track internships completed by students throughout the university.  

- Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.
- Three year's relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
