Purpose of Position
To develop, implement, and manage professional development and other program efforts associated with the Office of Talent and Innovation (OTI) intended to support innovation and growth, develop relationships within UTS and elevate the employees, students, and interns of UT System.
Essential Functions
Create and implement talent training and professional development programs that support UT System Administration's objectives.
Work closely with OTI staff and department leaders to evaluate and support UTS needs and create custom interventions aligned with resources/tools that have been developed to increase leader and individual effectiveness.
Continue to grow and improve existing UT System OTI programs such as UT System Internship (UTSI) program and internal professional development programming (CULTIVATE) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Engage multiple stakeholders, develop, track and communicate progress against milestones and observable success metrics, and evolve program tactics based on new information obtained during launch phases. Identify obstacles and opportunities and present recommendations to address them.
Build and maintain productive and service-oriented relationships within UT System Administration, at all System institutions, and with external partners in functional areas related to OTI pilots and programs.
Scope, develop, and recommend implementation approaches for potential OTI program pilots.
Manage on-line compliance training for UT System Administration including content updates and technology.
Assist with the development of innovation and talent-sponsored events. Support strategic planning efforts and other special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Master's degree and three (3) years' experience or Bachelor's Degree and (5) years' experience designing and/or implementing programs. Each additional year of experience over the required minimum may substitute for one year of college (30 semester hours) on a year-for-year basis.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Experience with on-demand learning platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Learning, Percipio) and other HR/learning and development technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree and 5 years' experience.
Working Conditions
May work around standard office conditions.
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Requires occasional evening or weekend hours.
Hybrid work environment (remote & office).
