The Assistant Director, Graduate Programs Enrollment is a full-time administrative recruiting and enrollment professional who will collaboratively lead the development and execution of enrollment strategies for selected programs. This professional will support the growth of COB Graduate Programs by leading the recruitment strategy for the full-time One-Year MBA, MBA+MSA, and MSM. This professional will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy to develop a robust candidate pipeline through tactics including shaping the marketing and communications strategy, networking with key influencers across campus, delivering program info and content sessions, developing and nurturing leads and credibly connecting with candidates. This professional will manage the admissions process and enrollment process for the programs. This professional will also promote the development and management of course plans for students, track student engagement and progress, and develop yield strategies students. In addition, this position will work closely with the Associate Director, Graduate Programs to support the recruiting and program management efforts for all graduate programs and manage the Graduate Assistant Work Program and the GA Special Projects Team.
Primary Accountabilities:
Lead the Recruiting Strategy Development & Execution for the full-time One-Year MBA, MBA+MSA, and MSM: Lead the development and execution of the marketing and recruitment strategy for each assigned program, with cohort quality and diversity as key objectives. Build awareness within target student groups of programs. Partner with COB Student and Career Success Center to identify candidates for graduate programs. Deliver presentations to OHIO classes, student organizations, OHIO Honors, OHIO Athletics and other groups. Rapidly follow-up on inbound inquiries in a manner that puts the prospective student at the center. Seek to understand the candidate’s goals while communicating program value and delivering the OHIO Brand. Credibly discuss the program and program experience in a way that connects with each candidate and their context. Analyze entry survey data to inform changes to recruiting strategy and practices. Continually evaluate and evolve recruiting tactics to improve processes and outcomes.
Lead the Admissions Process for One-Year MBA, MBA+MSA, and MSM including Academic Plan Development: Lead prospective students through the application and admissions process while delivering the Bobcat Brand. Monitor and communicate progress of applications to facilitate the submission of complete application packages. Facilitate OHIO’s internal admissions/decision process. Evaluate applications, organize interviews as appropriate for each program. Facilitate decision process with Program Director and Assistant Dean, ensuring adherence to College and University policies. Determine specialized course plans for students pursuing Senior for Grad Credit or who, for any other reason, will not be on a standard course sequence. Collaborate with the Assistant Dean and Program Directors to engage and promote the transition from candidate to student. Comprehend and stay current on admissions policies and regulations to promote recruiting processes and ensure compliance. Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce.com. Create cohort demographic reports. Continually evaluate systems, processes, and tactics to recommend improvement opportunities.
EAP Program Support: Support the EAP application open enrollment period to coincide with Fall and Spring registration periods. Coordinate with Career & Student Success Center and OHIO Honors to build awareness of program and processes among target students and drive applications. Ensure applications are processed in a timely manner with Program Directors. Track student progress semesterly to confirm intent to enroll in the graduate program and ensure they maintain eligibility; coordinate any probations with Program Directors. Collaborate with the Assistant Dean and Program Directors to engage and promote the transition from candidate to student. Manage final enrollment confirmation process and track overall program success including yield.
Support Recruitment and Admissions the FTMAcc degree, and manage the GA Program: This role operates within the Programs Enrollment Team and will provide the Associate Director with support in recruiting, admissions, and GA program management efforts including but not limited to inquiry outreach, funnel communication, participation in recruiting events, application review, interview logistics, and oversight of the GA Special Projects Team.
