POSITION DETAILS The Dean of the School of Education (SOE) oversees the undergraduate and graduate programs of the school and three academic departments, Early Childhood & Childhood Education, Middle & High School Education, and Counseling, Leadership, Literacy, and Special Education, comprised of 44 full-time faculty members, approximately 100 adjunct faculty members,14 professional staff and 2 college assistants. The dean also has responsibility for three centers and institutes: The Bronx Institute, The Center for School/College Collaboratives, and The Institute for Literacy Studies, which conduct research and action projects in partnership with schools.
